I began doing construction with my uncle and my dad when I was a kid. back then it was a lot of just handing them things and trying to stay out of their way while they cursed at boards. I was not particularly good at either of these. eventually I could be trusted to use a hammer and a level, but usually not at the same time. as I got into high school I helped with larger remodeling projects like decks, drainage ditches, moving walls and decorative ceiling beams. after a brief but informative detour into restaurants and kitchens I was back in the trades in 2017 and I began belman woodworks in 2020. I live in kansas city, missouri with my lovely wife Jessica and many stupid and lovable animals.
